Short Bio- Nicolas Constantinides

Nicolas St. Constantinides is a Partner at Tassos Papadopoulos & Associates LLC. His principal areas of practice focus on commercial law, company law and construction law in the context of which he advises international and local clients from a wide range of industries in both contentious and non-contentious matters. He regularly represents parties to arbitration, adjudication and court proceedings. Nicolas also regularly advises in the areas of competition law, contract law, tenancy disputes, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, torts and consults on various regulatory and compliance matters.

Prior to practising law, Nicolas served as a diplomat at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Cyprus to the EU in Brussels for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for the Government’s relations with the European Parliament. Nicolas also represented Cyprus at the EU Council Working Party on Transatlantic Relations and coordinated inter-institutional relations during the 2012 Cyprus Presidency of the EU Council, dealing with an array of legislative dossiers.

Nicolas is currently serving as the President of the Kyrenia Bar Association, one of the local bar associations of Cyprus and sits as an ex officio member of the Councils of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Advocates Pension Fund. He also is a member of the Delegation of the Cyprus Bar Association to the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE). He is also currently serving as a Board Member of the Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre (CAMC).

Nicolas is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, the International Bar Association and sits on the Global Advisory Council of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC). He is also a founding member of the Commonwealth Legal Network (CLN). Nicolas is also accredited by the Ministry of Justice of Cyprus as a Mediator in civil and commercial disputes.

Nicolas graduated with a degree in Law (LLB Hons) in 2008 and an LLM in International Law with Distinction in 2009, both from the University of Surrey. He then undertook his vocational training at the College of Law of England & Wales, London Bloomsbury, completing the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) in 2010. He was Called to the Bar by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in November of the same year.

Soteris Pittas Director

Soteris graduated from Athens University in 1984, obtained his L.L.M. (Commercial & Corporate Law) from the London School of Economics in 1988
and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 1989. From 1989 until 1994 he was an associate in the Lawfirm of Andreas Neocleous & Co and from 1994 until March 2002 he was a Partner and the leading litigation lawyer of the said lawfirm dealing with international trade law, trusts and equity, company and partnership disputes and all insurance and admiralty claims. Mr. Soteris Pittas joined the Firm of PATRIKIOS PAVLOU & CO on April 2002 as a Partner and he was in charge of the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Department of the Firm  until November 2009. Short Bio – Alexandros Tsirides

Alexandros Tsirides is the Managing Director of Costas Tsirides & Co LLC.

He graduated from University College London in 1996. He was called to the English Bar as member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1997 and completed his Master of Laws in 1998 with specialisation in Commercial and Corporate Law.

He qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2015 and later on the same year he was appointed as a member of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Examination Committee.

From 2016 until 2022 he served as the President of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Examination Committee.

Alexandros is very active and has served the Cyprus Bar association from various posts including being a Member of the Council of the Cyprus Bar Association, a VicePresident of the Limassol Bar Association, a Treasurer of the Limassol Bar Association and President of the Examination Committee for Insolvency Practitioners. He currently serves as a member of the Council of the Cyprus bar Association. And a board member

Christiana earned her LL.B. from the University of Cyprus in 2013, and she is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2015. She appeared before courts, representing a diverse client base for more than five years. She is specialized in European legal research through the acquisition of a master’s degree in European Union Law in 2018. She also earned two diplomas on financial and maritime issues from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2022.

Christiana is an accredited arbitrator and an accredited mediator and the legal officer of the Cyprus Arbitration & Mediation Centre since 2021.
