Arbitration in Practice: The Benefits for Every Business

The Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre (CAMC) held yesterday, 1 December 2025 at 3:00 p.m., a conference under the auspices of the Cyprus Bar Association, the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).

During the conference, welcoming speeches were delivered by the Director General of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry Mr. Marios Panayides, the President of the Cyprus Bar Association Mr. Michael Vorkas, the President of the Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre Mr. Andreas Michaelides, the Director General of OEB Mr. Michalis Antoniou, and the President of CCCI Mr. Stavros Stavrou.

Members of the CAMC Board of Directors presented the key advantages of arbitration, the role and mission of CAMC, as well as the importance of incorporating arbitration clauses into commercial contracts.

The conference formed part of a broader initiative to promote alternative dispute resolution and to highlight its value as an efficient, cost-effective, and business-friendly method for resolving conflicts.
